One of the most important home safety tips for homeowners is to get your furnace inspected by a qualified HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) professional before it’s time to fire up your heating system. Such an inspection not only ensures that your home stays warm during the winter, but will uncover any potential gas or carbon-monoxide leaks that could endanger your health.
